:dunno, I suspect the wheel speed sensors but they are stuck in the hub. Never had them working on my car so I never missed them.

Yea i live pretty close to Warrington and was w/ my dad when it JUST started accumulating on the roads and some kid in a jeep slide into his hitch... guess his awesome knobby tires dont do sh*t.... As for Bimmer's in the snow... bog the hell out of it... or just learn to drift in the snow, had to do that on multiple occasions in my M when I got stuck out in the snow

I see more jeeps in accidents than any other car. Jeep drivers think theyre invincible in weather so they drive like assholes. There was a jeep flipped into a fence on my way home.

Coming home from Whitetail after a day of skiing; I get passed by a jeep going twice as fast as everyone on the snow covered highway. A few minutes later we see him in the median. About 1/2 after that, he passes us again :nono

eh, I didn't have any problems today with one summer tire on the back + one all season and matching all season's on the front. Yes, I have 3 mis-matched tires on my car ftl.
There are two kinds of drivers I hate on snow covered roads: SUV drivers whoe feel they're invincible and people who fear for their life and drive really slow. The latter probably cause the most accidents while the former are involved in the most accidents. Damn people. I was creeping up to the stop sign at the westminster P.O. today waiting for some person doing about 10 mph to clear the intersecton. I didn't want to stop since there's bit of an incline there and it can be a bit hard to get started quickly which is a problem with the traffic moving across that road. (apparently people think the P.O. is the place to be when in snows... it was pretty busy today with SUVs all over the parking lot, including an H1.) On the way home, I had an SUV riding my ass at 45 mph and she (of course...) almost rear ended me even though I tried to brake as slowly as possible without hitting the person in front of me. 4WD != better brakes!!!! Morons. I bet I had greater capability snow today compared to most SUVs as I had no real traction problems after getting started and my car's handling and brakes are far superior to that of any SUV's.

Wheel sensor gone bad means ABS does not work, and ASC+T (if equipped) is turned off automatically, and cannot be turned back on (even manually). Be careful driving like this. Even in the wet you are at a severe disadvantage with a powerful, RWD car. When we had snow here in Portland (and I'm sure you all saw the YouTube with dumb Portland drivers), it was bad. And I was driving on great wet/dry tires. Not so good for snow/ice tires!

I can deal with the big earthquakes every 50-80 years. Snow on the other hand, I can't handle. :stickoutt

it works great on my car @ 15 mph though it's hardly necessary. No ASC ftmfw though :)

snow is EASY to drive in with semi decent tires, growing up and driving in MN has given me confidence in the snow but not cockyness, sliding at 70 is a bitch.....

The peps with 4WD forget that they have to turn and stop. They cannot do that any better then any other vehicle in the snow. The only thing they can do is accelerate faster and that leads them into a false sense of security.

With blizzard conditions and 10" of snow, all you need is a set of Nokian's on your car...NO problem! :D

And yes, the SUV drivers are fun to laugh at when they're in the ditch becuase of their stupidity...
