Dang that sucks.. Thats a pretty dangerous way to convert your m3 to a removal hardtop ;)

No kidding, that looks like a pretty horrible accident. Doesn't look like there was much room for a driver or any passengers to have survived! I certainly hope that everyone is ok....

the top wasn't sheared off as it might appear... that is the work of "The Jaws of Life". when the doors will not open,, the rescue workers will use a pnuematic machine to cut through the metal in order to get to the occupants.
last year, hear in tampa, an 18 wheeler came off of an overpass an onto a bmw 528 that was on the road below. the car was pretty smashed,, but the occupants of the bmw(one of which is in my sunday school class at church) both lived,, and were not harmed too bad.
so hopefully,, the occupants of the m3 here, had a similar fate.

That really hurts to look at. The car must be a 98 or newer because of the rear headrests.

It looks real horrible, but thats what is necessary for the passengers to survive. The crumpling allows the car to absorb some of the impact energy, which gives more time for the people inside to decelerate. If you look at the inside, you can see the rear seats are ok, and it appears the driver seat is intact. You can see it under the hood. I hope the driver is ok, like the rest.
