e34 diff ALL interchangeable??

actually, ALL 6cylinder engines interchangeable, i.e. 535i, 525i, M50, M20, M30??

Go here (http://bmwe34.net/e34main/upgrade/Recipe.htm) and scroll down to #11. Make of the note what you will, but I'm guessing that the 1995 525i/5 is the weird one, not the 535i/5.

I swaped a 3.46LSD from a 535 to a 525iA. The main differences was the input and output flanges. They can be swapped over to get the right setup.

IIRC, the only 'significant' physical difference is the large-case units on the 540i and M5. The rest of them are just input flange differences as noted.
