I am looking into buying a new door seal for my coupe. i was told the 2 are the same. is it the same for the sedan front doors? anybody?

Yeah, your question doesn't make perfect sense. If you are asking if the driver and the passenger door seal are the same, then no, they're mirrored, so that won't work. If you're asking if they're the same between coupe and sedan, then no, that won't work either, the doors are different sizes.

Doors are different, coupe's are substantially longer.

I am referring to what is called door seal, weatherstripping, rubber thingy, whatever you choose.

i realize that the doors are different otherwise i wouldn't have asked the question. I'm not blind, anyone can tell the doors are different. I was told by a seller they are the same and was wondering if anyone else agreed. I personally do not. thanks for analyzing my question rather than answering it though! :)

The seller was clearly more interested in selling something than in making sure you got what you needed. The different sized doors mean you need to keep looking.
