Hey guys,

I'm trying to organize something of a caravan to the 2/15 Thunderhill High Performance Driving School...

Information:
16 years or older can attend (16/17 require parents signature)
Clean maintained street vehicle (OK to trailer)
Snell 85+ helmet (loaners available)
3 point belt-harness, both front seats
$195 - includes lunch, Thunderhill T-Shirt, and post event social

more info at http://www.thunderhill.com/school.html

So far we have 3 confirmed. Would like 5-6 more people for the caravan.

Please post interest here.

Don't know what your plans are, but best advice is to reserve rooms (I'm partial to the Golden Pheasant Inn) and drive up the evening prior. Wait until commute traffic dies down, leave ~7:30-8:00pm, roll into Willows 9:30-10:00pm and get a good night's rest. Driving up the morning of the event make for a really long day.

Have fun, keep the shiney side up :)

I did Thunder hill in 2000 and Sears Point last year, it is a BLAST. one peice of advice if youhave driven Sears point before, it is not the same, I drove it after the remodel. The surface is definitely different.

Yeah, I drove the first weekend after reopened the full course last year. That place is a blast. Finally got the balls to stand on 4th gear through Turn 2 at that event. I took a racer out the first session for a refresher on Sears that morning, he says "you know you can do that turn flat out in 4th, I do it in 5th with the race car." He was right.
