a funny story

3 weeks ago i bought a '73 2002 that a younger guy started taking apart and got in over his head. i bought it primarily for the engine and tranny for my 74 and some other misc parts. anyway, it's STILL not at my house. the first towing company that was supposed to bring it to my house never showed up. supposedly the guy got fired, the next weekend they were supposed to bring it again, and they STILL never showed up. after writing 2 letters to the BBB i hired a new towing company to bring the car to my house. on the way here, the TOWTRUCK broke down....after spending a week trying to fix the towtruck, they had to have IT TOWED to a garage with my poor car on it....it's going on 3 weeks and i have to laugh or i'll go crazy! my poor little parts car....:( i hope this isn't some sort of omen.

at least you have a 2k2 thats on the road....im still tryin to find out what engine is in mine so i can rebuild it....all i know is its a m10? 1.8 liter swapped from fuel injected to carbueration.

actually, it's not on the road yet....that's why i need the engine.

I'm in Willoughby (where 271 meets 90) I might have some engine parts that I'd be willing to give up. Let me know what you might need. I have some other stuff too.
Plus there's the whole drink Dortmunder and talk o2 thing.

i'll definately do that! i don't know anyone else around akron that's into 02's.

i got a call from the towing company last night....they still have my car on their towtruck which is STILL broke down in the shop. hopefully it'll be here by spring.
