WANTED: Wrecked X5

I am going to start a new project that I need a wrecked X5 as a starter vehicle for. I prefer a rear end collision since it will most likely but cut away anyways. Frt ends are fine too, they just need to have minimal frame damage.

I prefer a white 5sp 3.0 but its really not that important. Does anyone know if a the 5spd from a 540 will bolt up to the x5?

6 speed. How much longer is that trans over the 5? Will it bolt up to the motor?

Check OT, started a thread there. Going to start collecting parts for a 4wheeling rig. Plan is to lay out a 4 link frt and rear susp with triangulated uppers. Depending on how big I decide to go, either 33's or 35's and either the 3.0 or 4.4, I will most likely run 9" or D60s with ARBs. Going to really have to stretch the wheelbase to fit the 35's and maintaining the rear doors. Interior/Exo cage. Etc.

I used to have a locked TJ and dont have any 4x4 right now so I thought I would like to combine the love for BMW's as well as offroading. Need to find a body first.

As far as the trans goes. I will NOT drive an auto. That is why i was wondering if any trans bolts up to the 4.4 that is a manual.

Well, mainly would like the frt frame to be straight. I still havent come across anything yet.
