BMW iPod interface for X54 SAV E53 E46 Vehicles
Part Number: 65110395149
Works with Nav only. I purchased it on eBay with poor description and without checking P/N with the dealer, Making long story short... It didn't work for me,
I was trying to retrofit it so one 3 wire harness is snipped and wire's isolation is stripped about 1/4 of an inch on 3 wires,

I'll let it go cheap. Asking price $90 shipped

Can you take a close-up of the connectors?

I would be retrofitting also... Can you tell me anything you know about the connectors and what the wires are for? Why does it need navigation?

Thanks

It's built to be wired to navigation unit, I had a write-up for radio wiring and that one has 4 wires, module for nav has only 3,
I still tried few things and at one point i got ipod to charging mode that affected all stero system and OBD monitoring so I had to disconnect it,
If you don't have navigation unit I wouldn't recoment to try retrofiting but hey... maybe you know something I didn't know ;)
I gotta work tonight but I'll post up some close ups tomorrow before noon sh check for updates,

Do you have the instructions on how to install it in a vehicle with Navi? Depending on how difficult it looks and if the connectors will be able to just clip on (I'm not very good with this sort of thing) I may be interested.

Hi, Ive bought e39 523i (1997) with MKIII and this Ipod Interface Kit, already installed in it. BUT.......the main white cable - between the Ipod and BMW adapter ( you connect it in the second whole next to the radio connector ) is missing. Did you buy it alone or was it included in the orginal box with the whole Kit? I cant find this cable via the parth number on ETKonline, so maybe its produced by Apple? I need this cable so much....Sry bout my english, and greetings from Czech Republic.. Thxxxxxx (mailto: p.spinar@seznam.cz (p.spinar@seznam.cz))
