replacement back window?

I know on some cars you can actually replace the plastic rear window with a glass one. Is this possible on the e36 vert? It doesn't really seem like it since the way the window folds into the back but I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask.


Maybe I should just look into getting a used hardtop + kit.

Apparently there are no glass windows availalable for the e36 due to the fact that the window itself has to fold in half. Funny that I have seen glass vert windows that are split horizontally on older American cars like early Mustangs. Why hasn't anyone come up with this syle for the e36?

Ha thats a good question you would think some crafty moder could come up with somehting like that. Ah well thats what the hard top is for I guess.
