probably not a good idea. nightshades are best for small surface areas and would run like hell if sprayed on glass. that, and the idea itself is retarded.

I am sorry, but the smoked taillights look HORRIBLE. You guys get so bored with your cars, you do the smoked DIY for the sake of modding. On the blue ride at the stop, the classic OEM look with red/clear looked perfect. Why ruin that?

I must admit that on the blue I do like the white/clear look, the car still looks good regardless.

Personally, it doesn't look amazing with these colors, but on a black car the smoked top line of the tails looks sick. Also, the link to the red e36 with the smoked front ambers doesn't do it justice. I'm doing it to my schwarz II next weekend, I'll keep you posted w/ pics.

True, check my sig, or click on it for more pictures of smoked corners on a Schwartz II. If you use tayima's transparent paint you get a real dark black, that shows the color through clear, instead of with a red tint like nightshades.

that's funny!! you could've taken out the whole tail lights though so you wouldn't have to tape all over the car...it seems like a lazy job but it turned out good though
Is the Nite Shade perm?
Anyone tried to remove it?

you can remove it by wet sanding with high grit sand paper took about 15 min each tail light to remove it for me..i had 5 coats and clear coat on there
