Last night it started. The seat belt assister doesnt retract all the way back into the little "cubby", lol. Anyone else have this problem yet, or do you know how to fix it. The dealership cant work on the car til it gets loaded into BMW.

Have not had any issues with mine in the first 2 weeks. That is crazy that they will not work on it? I can tell you that my dealership would be all over making me happy and fixing it, regardless of paperwork/systems

that's messed up they won't work on it. hell, they worked on the car when they did the pre-delivery inspection!
LOL, I knew when I first saw the coupe (months before it came out, at BMW training), I knew for a fact, 100% that the seat belt assisters wouldn't last.

There is a BMW TSB on it with a new part that is supposed to be more rugged.

They finally fixed it.. I was cool with the guys and they showed me how to fix it. The head or hand of the arm may get pulled out of the socket on the tip of the assister. All you have to do is hold the arm and push the head til it snaps back into place.
