I am looking at some Borbet wheels with snow tires they are 16" and I am buying them from a person who had them on his 2001 740i....will the offset fit on my 95 325is (E36)? Thanx!

Ahhh.. No.

I'm Pretty sure the offset on the 3's are compleatly different from 5 and 7 series...
I've been shopping for rims fro my 7 and there are several listed on Fleabay that say fits 5 or 7 series but no mention of 3 series so I'm almost positive the offset is different...

Sorry...

As far as I remember, yes, they will. I've seen a lot of 740 sport pack wheels on e36's, but that's not always the case. (I think there was a thread yesterday). Anyway, ask him if you can get the info on bolt pattern and offset, and you'll be ok. You can also google wheel bolt patterns for BMW's and probably find out. You're looking for a 5x120 bolt pattern, and as close to a 38 mm offset as possible.

no, they will NOT fit on an e36. the wheels you're thinking of are replicas.

I was out of the office but themadhatter is correct. The offset is incorrect.

E36 requires high-offset wheels. 7-series uses low-offset.
