CDV mod

Hi,

I recently ordered my 335i 6MT and cannot wait to get it--it's awaiting transport:redspot. I am new to the BMW family and I hope the car meets and exceeds all my expectations, which are quite high. I am coming from an SVT Contour so I doubt I will be disappointed. Anyway, friends of mine have been telling me about this CDV that will come with my car and how awful it makes driving a manual BMW. Has anyone done the CDV mod themselves? If so, how easy/difficult was it?

on an e36 m3, very easy. in short, you find the cdv, take it off, and screw the part back in without the cdv, and then fill up brake fluid(and bleed) what you lost in the process. you might want to research it first since your car isn't the same as mine.
