If they can all essentially be "hammered and popped", then what is the point? Aren't they useless, except only to deter the passerby and/or amatuer? Nobody makes any that rotate when locked, so they can't be hammered - they would have to be drilled out? Million dollar idea right there...

I guess the point is that they are a deterrent, since it would take longer to steal wheels that have locks vs. wheels with none. If car theives don't steal the entire car and then can take their time, then they would be more inclined to steal something that would take less time.

Do the wheel locks look ugly though? Which kind are least noticeable?
