Need some advise. Got qouted $41800 for a 335 manual coupe with sports package? According to the dealer its $500 below MSRP.
Is this a good/ok price? Also, are there any other options besides sports package should i consider getting?
I wanted to stay under $40k for the new car, but after reading all the reviews regarding the 335, i'm seriously considering it.
Thanks in advance for the input.

I think that anything below MSRP is a pretty good price on this vehicle. I live in Orlando where just about every 335i that has arrived was a pre-sold car. With that kind of demand, you really can't expect much of a break on the price; after all, if you won't pay sticker, someone else will. In any event, the quoted price sounds like a decent deal to me.
Also, I think you'll like the manual transmission on this car. I went back and forth on this decision for a while and ultimately decided on the stick. I know that the automatic has its proponents and advantages, and that the transmission decision ultimately boils down to personal preference, but I cannot imagine driving this car without a 6-speed.

Price varies by region. Some people on this board have paid MSRP. I got $1,500 off. I have heard people doing better than this. Try a couple dealers to get a feel for the market value in your area.
I got sport, leather, comfort access, and heated seats. These options plus the metallic paint and destination charge put the MSRP just above $45k. I can't live without the leather and heated seats, the comfort access was just for fun at $500. I picked up my 335 yesterday and its great! Don't regret getting any of these options and have not yet missed options I skipped.

I agree about the price varying based on region. I got 1500.00 off MSRP. The dealer in my town wanted list. I got the better deal by purchasing from a dealer about 100 miles away.

It's usually before they start adding sales tax, doc fees, and license fees.

I paid 43K out the door for my sedan with the premium and sports package. I highly recommend getting both these packages, I can't imagine the car without them.
