Hi all,
New to this forum and thought I'd share some pictures of a project my company has underway. Its a 1973 2002 that we sold new in 1973.
Recently purchased and undergoing restoration to original condition.
Will most likely be looking for help and or advice, possibly sources for original intake system parts.:cool

Looks like it's a '73 instead of a '74.
Cool project! Please keep us updated!

Harry's referring to the shot of the rear panel - 74-74 had the larger square tail lights.

I realized the mistake as soon as I posted. Thanks.

It's an interesting project for us. I got involved with Bimmers in the mid 80's. Deal with the latest BMW technology on a daily basis, and i'm trying to learn about the "state of the art technology" from 1973 to complete this project.
I wish I had pictures of the car from when we first got it. Overall it was not in very bad condition, most of the interior looks almost brand new.
It's unbelievable that 90% of the parts we need are available from BMW as new parts. Pictures will be posted as they become available.

A Haynes manual may come in handy if you get really stuck... most things are easy enough to figure out though.
Looking forward to your next installment:)
