I just recently got my 328is, the time I test drove it the A/C kicked in a little so I paid no mind. Well, since then I've found out it's not blowing air, hot or cold, nothing. It has only worked for me twice then just stopped. Any idea why?
This sounds like the infamous HVAC problem. If its what I think it is a search should turn up a diagnosis and a DIY. From what I remember there is also a place you can mail it to that will fix it for a small fee.

HVAC problem, I'll look into that. What is a DIY?

sounds very much to me like the final stage unit or resistor pack, depending on the HVAC system you have fitted.
The packs have preset resistors in them to control the fan speed. If this goes duff, you get no airflow as the fan fails to operate.
If you have a digital climate control module and the unit switches its on and off intermittently, this could be due to a faulty capacitor inside the unit.
If fitted, it might also pay to check the microfilter as a blocked filter will also restric airflow.
If the air con system is short of gas, this will also affect the operation of the system too.
Hope that helps?

I have the digital climate control, the unit itself does not switch on/off, the digital display responds correctly. Sometimes I do get airflow(whenever it wants to). Yesterday I noticed the AC was kicking hot air so I'm thinking it's out of gas-you think that would contribute?

You may well have a tempremental final stage pack. Does the fan only come on at one speed, no matter what you have it selected to?
The air con system does shut down if its short on gas, a pressure switch is in place to cut out the system.

Whenever the fan has worked, it works on all speeds from low to the max. The fan has only worked for me no more than 3-4 times, I just got the car 2weeks ago so I'm finding things here and there, you know...
