Wheel Fitment Question

I have a 2001 E39 5 Series. Will rims form a E46 M and Non M vehicles fit my car. My hub has a diameter of 74.1mm

No, you would need to have the hub diameters enlarged from 72.6mm to 74.1mm.
In addition, for E46 non-M you would need to run hubcentric spacers to arrive at correct offset.

For E46 M wheels, after enlarging hub bore- the rears should fit on rear of E39 but not sure if they would clear the suspension/ brake caliper up front on E39.
