Anyone ever consider the cost or difficulty of getting a remanufactured SMG I from the Euro M3 swapped into one of ours? I'm actually surprised we havn't seen more development on something like this. And yes, i saw this thread already:

SMGI is extremely unreliable and insanely expensive to fix when it goes wrong.

I don't really think BMW got SMG right until the e46 M3 with SMG II
