last time i did them i went with the power flesx for ease of installation and good quality. what is the newest "craze" out there, is it still powerflex. i may just do another set of PF just cause it would take me 10 minutes to do. i am also considering the TC Klein Delrin one cause it looks just as easy to install.

Is it really only a 10 minute job? I need to replace mine as well.

its 10 mins if u have PF bushings in them.

the craze is still PF bushings or oem with GC shims. get delrin if its a track only car...

no way, I think he must be doing something else and it would take him additional 10 min to do RTABs as well

New OE with GC or TMS shims.

Powerflex is EH IMO.

Solidly mounting them on a street car (delrin, aluminum, monoball etc) is just stupid on a car that sees any street use.

same question I posed about the front LCAB's - Why are you against Powerflex? I'm not trying to start crap, I'm about to replace both and want good info. I've never heard anyone else complain about them.

since i have a 95 i have the offset bushings so the PF ones had to be popped in and you have to drill the lolipop to put in a set screw (this is only for the offset). i wasn't all that happy with relying on a set screw so looked into other options and came up with the THR and with so many good reviews i descided to get them. and the increase in NVH is no biggie since this isn't a DD.

I was actually posing the question to Stuck, but the info on the set screw is good, I wasn't aware of it. Is there much of an increase in NVH? If so, I'll just get stockers. I can live with a little increase, but not if its obnoxious.

i just realized i posted this in the wrong thread. the info i wrote about the set screw was meant for the FRONT LCAB. and not the RTAB.

Ive got the TCK delrin ones on my 332i. They are fine for street driving on a modded car that is set up pretty stiff anyway. Only downside is when I stripped my trunk you can really hear them over bumps.

that is great to hear. i am leaning towards getting those anyway. since i will have the delrin ones up front (treehouse).

no annoying squeaks or rattles? delrin is supposed to be stiffer than polyurethane. i'm curious about the wear.

from what i have seen, powerflex is junk. it wears out 2x as quickly as stock rubber and it squeaks b/c it needs constant lubing up.

RRT has suggested for a street car that sees good track time, to run OE e46 m3 rtab bushings w/ RRT's own delrin RTAB limiters. that way you lateral stiffness similar to pflex bushings but w/o the NVH.

there is a groupbuy going on for Powerflex if your doing that...

delrin is ok, but it doesn't let the suspension move off axis through its range of travel. So you get binding.

pflex aren't bad, they are stiffer than oe's and aren't that loud. I run them because i can't run spherical rtabs.

I've had PF in my car since 2004 and I've never once had even a squeak out of them. They're completely silent in my experience. I know my mechanic told me he lubed them extra good before installing them. Maybe that's why mine are silent.

10 min. job?

15 min per side if you know what you're doing. 1.5-2 hrs for the first side you ever do, probably.
