clicking noise

just recently my car started making this weird clicking noise coming from the right wheel well. I realized that it only makes this clicking noise on uneven surfaces, could it just be that somehow my spring rotated enough to get the suspension pad to move and make this weird clicking noise, or could it be something worse. i would really appreciate what you might think may be the cause for this since i have somewhat of a short road trip to take tomorrow. Thanks in advance
