I am picking up my 335 manual sedan, with sport, premium and cold weather next week. I have read that the run flat tires are kinda hard, and not so sticky. I was wondering how they fare with donuts, drifting and burnouts. Anyone? Anyone? Any pics or videos?

I agree that it is too expensive, I have just always had an obsession with burning rubber, and have been driving a Honda Ridgeline for about 9 months with no sports car. I had a G35 coupe six speed, with brembos and all the cool stuff, that I used to roast through some meats. I know it may be a harder thing to do with this being such a nice car, and the 335 rides and handles way better than the g35 did. I am just excited about getting my car.

as of the last 7 monthes i have been driving an 06 Nissan titan and i absolutely love the friggin truck. unfortunetly iam giving it to my dad to drive when i take delivery of my 335i. Its gonna take me a while to adapt iam sure. But iam sure it will be definetly worth it.

expenses aside I dont think thte 335i has an option for a lsd so even if u do burn rubber you're going to be a 1 wheel spinner and we know those aren't cool :nono

You can get the rear end to kick out and 'drift' to an extent, but Spunky said a few post earlier, with no Limited Slip Diff, this One Legger ain't doing any major burn outs anytime soon.

There are a few options coming to market though and I'll have an LSD in my e90 335 as soon as I can get it done.

It will transform a modded 335 to what is should be from the start !

what? no stock LSD? thats stupid so will we have to replace the carrier unit and everything else?

m cars have lsd.

non m cars have traction control and stability control. yeah it kinda sucks.

you dont have to change the carrier, pull out the open diff, put in the lsd. but you need someone who knows what they are doing, its a precise process to setup the ring and pinion, etc.
