We're selling our nicely tuned 1996 BMW 328i Sport. This is an excellent and well-kept dual-purpose car -- very comfortable for commuting or cruising, well set-up for open track, autocross, or canyon carving. This is a great deal for a responsible driver or a bmw enthusiast.

For those who don't know, the 328i Sport offered many of the benefits of the '97-'98 M3 sedan but at a better price and with less expensive insurance. This car is very comparable to the performance of an e36 M3.
Its suspension is set up to handle better than the M3.

Specs are as follows:


* 1996 BMW 328i w/ ~148,000 miles.
* Freshly painted in factory original Hellrot (bright red) (Hard to find color - Repainted at time of body kit install to make sure all panels and body kit paint matched perfectly.)
* Black leatherette interior
* Power Sunroof
* 5-Speed MANUAL Transmission (perfect match for this sporty car)
* Factory Sport Package
* Power Sport Seats
* Cruise Control
* HK Audio w/ Blaupunkt in-dash CD and subwoofer
* Full Alarm w/auto window and Sunroof close
* This car has every option but traction control (the non-TC cars offer a more sporty throttle body) and the auto transmission.

Nice car, but I had to laugh out loud with the above statement. Do you have any idea what you'd get in trade in for a 11 year old car with 150K?! You even saying that to push us to want your car quickly is hilarious. Go ahead, trade it in, you'll get about $3-4K.

E36 M3's as nice as yours with less miles go for what you're asking. To help actually sell it, you might try somewhere around $7K-$8K. Good luck either way.

Props to having a great car and being so cool. It'll be a first time (running) BMW purchase for my wife and I and since all other cars that we've driven are FWD, this is going to be quite a switch. My brother owns an E30, an E46 330i ZHP, and an X3, so I've seen what these cars are capable of. The 330 is stock, and the E30 has a few suspension mods. Basically I put two and two together and I can imagine that the handling of your baby must be awesome. Always have been a fan of the E36s and this is a pristine example of one.

It's hard for me to tell how much gain the pulley actually gives, because of the intake and exhaust. However, seat of the pants, yes you can feel a difference between my car and a stock 328i. No downsides so far.

Hard miles? No, it's mostly freeway miles. I've heard in reality, average yearly mileage for most cars these days is 12k-15k miles. So for an 11 year old car, still falls within average wear.

Keep in mind that this is my Daily Driver, and doesn't just go out cruising PCH on the weekends only because it's worried about racking up miles or because it has a stablemate Civic as the daily driver. It's a daily driver because it can be and it has to be (it's my only car.) However, it is a dual personality car, daily driver and possible autocrosser if you choose (but I don't autocross it, because it's my only car).

Trouble spots? Just your normal wear on an 11year old daily driven car. Nothing that stands out to me. The engine and all mechanicals still strong. But trouble spots for one person may not be trouble spots for another person. So the best, would be to come take a look at the car if you are interested :)

Yes, I would trust the extended drive because I use the car as a daily driver. And if you take care of the car, the car will take care of you :cool

Yeah, the Racing Dynamics kit is rare and subtle at times. A lot of people see the car and know something is different but just can't quite put their finger on it. Then they see the RD label, and it hits them...yup, that's the elusive RD body kit :)
