Well my name is Luis, i currently just bought my first car, and it happends to be a 2003 Mini CooperS..Hum i got it fully loaed, and i plan to do many mods on it...I'm located in miami, and its nice to see other Mini owners cause i feel like i'm the only Mini in Miami...

Thats a sweet car man! I'd say the first thing you should do is get the trim painted. I'm waiting until the thaw here in NJ to paint mine, but down there in Miami you shouldn't have any problems with winter :D How about some rims too? What kind of budget are you working on? You should also check out the intake from BMP (Beastmaster on here has it on his S).

Well currently the car is the project car for the site i work for.Since its brand new i want to wait till i hit 2k miles before i do anything major. I'm currently working on a sponership for the wheels, some nice 18's..also i want to put that grill on it, and drop it with some H&R coil over set...As far as exhust work i would love to put SuperSprint, Also i want to slap on a nice pully.. but we'll see how everything goes..Duno about you guys but my mini has alot of brake dust when i drive...I mean i washed my car yesterday and by like today there already dirty...Does that happend to you guys?

Yes, the pads dust like hell too. It makes them easier to wash if you slap a coat of carnuba wax on there (P21S, blitz, hi tech yellow etc) but they'll still get dirty just as fast :az:

yeah i was thinking of slapping on ebc's on them cuse i can get them cheap, but duno since the car is new...

Yeah, I'm definately going to slap some ebcs on there with some x drilled rotors whenever the hell I decide to get my springs (I figure I might as well do them all at the same time :dunno)

yeah, i'm currently working on the h&r c/o but i cant stand cleaning my brakes..i think i just might go by the ebcs this week...

I was at the Race Rock meet in Orlando this past weekend with my MINI. I've got a '02 Chili Red Cooper, but I'll be getting an MCS here soon (but not soon enough.)

AWD 220HP MINI...NOOOOOOOOOOO WAY, Jesus u just bought my Mini..It was an '03 MiniS, it comes with 163HP, but i've raced alot of cars that are like 220+Hp and i've won, so its a really fast car..But hey keep me informed about that new mini, shit i'll trade mines in for on of thoes....

Rumors about the RS edition are all over the MINI boards. Check out www.minicooperonline.com and do a search for 'MINI Cooper RS.' Up at the meet last weekend, the RS edition was the buzz. We'll see what happens.

PTG is also having molds made right now for a CF Hood, Doors, and trunk. I'll update you guys on them when they are done, etc.

PTG (Prototype Technology Group) is BMW NA's race team. They race in the American Le Mans Series, and for this year, the SPEED World Challenge. They are located in Winchester Virginia.
