SOLD!

Car currently has 228k miles on it. Runs GREAT. Compression numbers, dyno test, and smog results all show that the motor is strong. The car is kashmir beige outside with tan leather inside. It is a 5-speed (converted from auto) and has a few minor goodies as well.

The good:
-M3 Lower control arm bushings with new control arms
-new radiator, water pump, thermostat, thermostat housing, belts, and belt tensioner/idler pulleys
-M3 Rear trailing arm bushings with Ground Control limiting shims
-17x7.7" M contour Replica wheels
-New front brake pads (Hawk HPS) and rotors; rears are Pagid pads and in good shape
-M3 cat back exhaust
-Koni Single Adj. Shocks, Rogue rear shock mounts, and H&R Sport springs (all 96+ M3 spec) with 95 M3 strut hats
-M3 style sway bar links mounted to struts in front, but stock sway all around
-All fulids are new and have been changed regularly with quality synthetics (since new)

The bad:
-The car just developed an oil leak(s). Didn't investigate too much, but it may be the oil filter housing gasket or oil pressure sensor.
-There is an ocational SMALL click noise in the back when braking.
-The tires are down to about 2/32-3/32. They are a bit noisy as well.
-Sunroof has a clicking noise when closed. Its as simple as replacing a couple clips.

The body and interior are all in very good condition, but do have some minor flaws. I am the 3rd owner and have all maintainance history for the car. It has definitely been well cared for and it shows. Everything works on the car (A/C, heat, windows, locks, etc...)

Asking $3500 obo. Would like to sell in the next few weeks. I am only selling it because 3+ cars is too many for me. It has been a great car and I would like to keep it.

Sorry...no pics of the current suspension profile. I just put them on the other day to prepare for sale.

Bump for a good seller, and bmw mechanic from Edge Motorworks who works on my e30 M3. Nothing wrong with high milage, my M3 has 280K+ and running strong! I'd consider this as a daily driver in a heart beat if I didn't have the e34.

I had a '92 325i MT sedan in that same colour combination. I got hit head on in December and State Farm paid me $4860 for it with 235,000 miles on the clock. That's a fair price for a car that will have plenty more life left if well maintained -- I was still taking my car to track/HPDE events, and planning on driving it well past 300,000 miles!

I had a comparable suspension and stock wheels; this will make someone a great car!

I want it! Any chance you would trade for a 5 speed Jeep Wrangler with a hardtop? I would love to have 2 kashmere beige e36 sedans! I'd like to buy it outright, I just can't have 3 cars.

Thanks guys!

I am not looking to trade now. I have the same problem of too many cars.

Wish I saw your car first. Already committed to buy another e30. Gl with the sale. Although I may have to pay you guys a visit for parts and work on the new project car.

Greetings. I'm very interested in this car and have the money to spend. I'm a newbie to the site and BMWs but not to cars. Have you been able to find the oil leak yet? What were the compression numbers? Is that a little bit of rust near the bottom rear corner of the driver's side door or just image distortion?
