This might be a rookie question, but here it goes....my driver side low beam light caught a pebble or something and got cracked, how do you remove the light lense?

I actually have no idea. Three of my headlights are cracked so I am facing the same prospect. I intend to start taking things apart until the headlight comes out, same as with any other DYI repair. If you look at the exploded drawing on realoem.com, it looks quiet straightforward. That's not to say it will be but, what the heck, it can't be that hard.

the glass lenses can not be removed from the housing.

I believe we're talking about replacing the lamp, not the lens.

So the glass lens pops off the front of the light and you dont have to take the whole light out?

no the glass lense isn't suppose to come away from the housing.
I believe you will have to take is it 4 (idk how many there are mine was completely smashed when I did it)? screws out from around both of the lights, then you can take the whole light assembly out and it is easier to see what you are doing.
