I just picked up my 2007 335i yesterday, how do you open the passenger door if I am at the drivers door using CA?
Thanks

You don't!
Just hit the remote twice.
Or walk over to passenger side & open all 4 doors via CA.

My 335i coupe is on order and includes comfort access. I was under the impression that the CA could be programmed to automatically open both doors when you approached the driver's side door with the key fob in pocket . . .

Think you can via idrive settings

And, at least in the 5-series version, can also open other doors same way as driver's door (grab any handle, unlocks all 4 doors if so programmed iDrive).

You can set the car to either unlock just the door your at or unlock all doors. Without Idrive you use the toggle switch and obc button on the turn stalk to change this option. In the manual it tells the exact procedure.

Can you let me know the exact procedure to do this? I've got an '07 335i.

Thanks,

Correct. Although approaching does not unlock, you have to grasp the handle.
