For Sale is a green 1995 BMW 740i with tan leather interior. The car has 100,xxx miles on it, and she's running strong. There are no problems with the car. Due to the common Nikacil engine issue in the '95 BMW V8 engines, the short block was replaced at about 65k miles, so the car's running like brand new, and you don't have to worry about the nikacil issue. There are no major dings or dents, but there is wear on the car, as it's 13 years old.

The rear bumper was damaged about a month ago, and we just spent $1200 to get that fixed up and repainted, and it looks perfect. (no frame damage or anything like that, my mom was backing out of our cabin driveway and hit a tree)

Located in Daytona Beach FL, asking $10,000 OBO. Pictures will follow if anyone shows any interest!

The reason for selling is because we just bought a 2001 740iL. Yup, we got another E38 7-series because we loved this one so much!

PRICE DROP!!!! $8,900

i ave a few pictures i took a couple of weeks ago. These were taken before we fixed the bumper damage. I assure you, the bumper looks fantastic now. we replaced the entire bumper cover, along with the plastic trim. $1,200 made it better than it was before.

If anyone is interested, I can go out tomorrow and take pictures of the bumper so you can see hoe it looks all new and shiny

The bumper is now completely fixed and painted and looks fantastic, and we got the car professionally detailed inside and out. It's now on autotrader for $8,900 for a quick sale.

this is my father's car and i drove it around for a couple of days while mine was in the shop a week ago. I can't tell you enough how clean this is for a '95 E38. The paint/body is actually in BETTER condition on this car than our newer '01 E38 that we just got. The interior is immaculate for a '95, with minimal wear (the seats are basically perfect). And of course with a brand new short block, this car runs like a champion. There isn't a better e38 for a better deal out there. Don't pass this one up!!!

I believe you mean it has a new "short block". The car does not have a "new engine". :-)

Good luck on the sale - nice looking car.

Bump. We took it off the sale lot and it's sitting quietly in our garage now, so if you have any picture requests or anything, let me know.

No interest?! the thing is just sitting there :( It's such a nice car, I hate seeing it just sit around!!!

She's been driven around by a middle-aged engineer.. she was taken care of. Don't be afraid to make an offer, it doesn't do us any good taking up a space in the garage.
