Hey Guys. So my Dad is selling his car.
IT's a 98' 528i w/126k miles. Price is $10,500obo

All maintenance has been perfomed as regular, and we have not had any problems w/the car. He's owned it for a few years now and bought it w/45k miles on it. Most of the miles put on it were highway miles since he went up north often for work. The car rides great, and it super reliable. Again, this is my dads car and was NEVER driven hard, he's planning on getting a SUV.

It has Premium Package, It's Black/Black w/wood grain.

Mods:

Window Tint
Depo clear corner lights
Depe clear tail lights
19" Breyton Magic Wheels w/ Nitto NT555 Extreme ZR Tires. 245's in the front and 275's in the rear.
He also has One 12" Memphis Subwoofer in the trunk w/1000 watt Perfomance Technique Amplifier. IT really souds great and fills in the bass nicely.
6disc CD changer in the trunk.

Sorry for the delayed reply. My brother was the one that created this post and he has been really busy.

I am pretty sure my dad has the stock headlights but he does not have the rims.

You dont like them, huh? I don't think it would be too hard, they are "real" Breyton's. I'm sure you could trade+cash with someone if you want stock or trade+cash with a rim-shop for new rims.

Are there any aftermarket rims in particular you want? We have a rim-shop that would trade for these rims for another set of aftermarkets.

the chrome looks horrible, the wheels do not match the car even without the chrome, and breyton inspirations have always made my stomach turn. you'll be surprised how hard it will be to get rid of those wheels on a bmw forum.

i appreciate you looking into your local wheel shop's willingness to swap the wheels. let me know what they say, and we'll arrange a weekend for me and my wife to drive up to clairemont to look at the car (or maybe meet halfway).


i would also want it to have a PPI done at European Motorwerks, in Arcadia. it's john handel's shop- it shouldn't be more than 15-20 minutes from you, if you're in the niegbhorhood that i am thinking.

Listen LeftCoast, it does not have to do with being insulted. It has to do with common courtesy. If you were trying to sell your car on here and I put up a post(of which you have now put a couple) that said "It looks like crap!" That would be bad for business.
So, your argument of "this is just business" is true, so stop the mud-slinging since I did nothing to you to warrant you talking sh!t about the car. If I was a competitor of yours and we had competing dealerships, I can see where you can sling-mud at me and my business but, we are not!(even though "mud-slinging" is still -as you say- a "tacky" business tactic)

Just because you are a potential "customer" of mine does not give you the right to talk trash about the car all over the very post that is trying to sell it! If you want to say negative things about the car that I am trying to sell, pm me or put them in another forum(preferrably after I sell it), don't put them all over this post.

Yeah, me and my brothers kept telling my dad that he needed to put lowering springs on the car to make it "look right" but he didn't listen. He was afraid that he would feel every bump on the road. Anyways, we can throw some "mudders" on there for you! hahaha
