Im possibly looking at a RMS Stg 1 kit but the thing is that it doesnt have is the software. Is there anywhere i can get software or is it worth it to get a standalone. I wont be upgrading it from there.

Thanks

There are plenty of guys here like KO Performance or Nick G that can get you a propper file for your E36. Or we can get you a terrific stand alone box for fuel and timing. That way you can use multiple programs for different octanes or altitudes. Either way tuning an E36 for a stage one kit is very simple!

Best of luck with your project and congrats on getting Blown :alright

Since you're in Ontario you should check out http://www.dsylva-tech.ca. Mark's a great guy and an excellent tuner from what I've heard. He can tune OBDII vehicles but your car has to be present. Best bet imo.
