Tire width for my m3 wheels?

The stock ones are 255/40/18. Can I look for any other size to prevent rubbing? Right now I have slight rubbing on bumps with people in the car, and very little rubbing with no people, At my ride height I believe a fender roll will fix this.

So anything I can do or should I stick with 255?

One more question: I need spacers for the front, Are non-hubcentric spacers fine or not? I'm looking at some ebay 8mm spacers.

Bump, I'm searching but some people are sayign yes, others are saying no. I know want to get 2 more front rims and put 8mm spacers on all 4 making each a 39 offset wheel. :help
