1998 e36 M3 AA Supercharged

1998 BMW Titanium Silver supercharged e36 M3. I'm selling because I bought this car for it's speed and fun factor but in reality, I drive like grandma and it doesn't make sense to have all that power car when I don't use it.

This car has a clean title, manual, 82k miles, 2 door, a/c, power windows, door locks, black vaders.

The car has:

35% tint,
Active Autowerke supercharger (no dyno sheet)
Active Autowerke exhaust.
Active Autowerke track pipe also included with oxygen simulators
Active Autowerke differential support bracket
Boost and air/fuel ratio gauges,
Stoptech big brake kit (332mm),
ZKW headlights w/ DDE (one of the DDE doesn't work right now),
Eclipse head unit and CD changer in trunk,
UUC Evo III Short shifter,
UUC Transmission mounts w/ Enforcers(black),
SSR Comp wheels 17x8
X-Brace
Ground Control Rear Shock Mounts

This car has been meticulously maintained and has been using Mobil 1 synthetic motor oil.

I have all receipts since I've owned it.

Maintenance done include:

75k inspection done
New Thermostat, belts, radiator, water pump
Changed transmission fluid with synthetic Royal Purple Synchromax,
Differential fluid with synthetic Royal Purple MaxGear,
Fuel filter, cabin air filter (microfilter),
Rear trailing arm bushings w/ GC Shims,
Control arm bushings,
Leather conditioned with Meguir’s leather conditioner,
4 brand new oxygen sensors installed,
Intake cleaned,
4 wheel alignment just done,
Welded oil pump nut.

Not so good:
Underpanel is self destructing on me.
Rear shocks getting soft BUT I have a set of koni's that I'm throwing in.
SSK has one of those clips missing so theres play to the right.

This car is ready to go and all maintenance is done!

I'm not flipping it. I bought this car on impulse cuz someone hit and totalled my old 98 e36 m3. I then wanted a s/c'ed m3 and matt had this for sale so within the next week, i bought it and had it shipped here. after about a year of not really driving it and never really in boost, i figured theres no point in having a s/c. so that's why i'm selling.

you around 3rd or 4th ave? I was just in that area for new years so I'm curious. Yeah, that area....no way you're getting into boost. Have you gotten any dings or dents from SF "parking" or being parked into? Scrape a lot anywhere? Also, how have you smogged it?

Actually ya, i go to school at ucsf. i'm actually on 9th so it's only 5 blocks from 3rd or 4th. I haven't gotten any dents with sf parking yet. Its always in a garage and theres NO WAY i'm parking it on the street. People start turning into Austin Powers when trying to parallel park.... the bumpers would be all scratched up, also theres no scraping cuz it's still stock height. I smogged it from a place in la when I was down there. When I sell it, I'll prob have to take it there unless I can find another place that will smog it.

ROFL... that was a fun weekend... more fun getting to maryland in our SHITTY/BROKEN/BEATEN Lancer(baseline) from Georgia... if we had a video camera we would have had many a funny stories with video!!!

Funny thing is I rode to Maryland with Matt(redefinedm3) and i had known him for like 3-4 weeks... he was like "wanna drive to maryland to get a supercharged m3..."

Yeah, I get your screen name now. I just met some folks who are dental students, class of 2010. I actually already have an s/c m3, so just to let you know, I'm not really interested. haha, it just means that the underpanel is going to need to be replaced. The underpanel tends to fall apart on these cars.

your right about passing emissions will be easier anywhere besides california. All I know about the CEL is P1188 and P1189.

hahahahahaah, theres been 3 owners so far. Kapolani (1st), redefinedm3 (2nd), joshdds (3rd). All have shown TLC.

Bump for an exceptional car that I have had the pleasure of watching it be maintained, driven and ridden.

Car is still for sale. The CEL code are air flow codes and someone responded and said it will need a new HFM. I'm a little flexable. So far I'm getting a lot of low ballers. They're offering me what a stock m3 is worth.

CEL Is Fixed!!!!!! It was a vacuum leak. Car doesn't drive any different but at least the orange/yellow light isn't on anymore. :buttrock
