I Just bought a 2007 328xi. The dealer is offering a 5 year tire/rim warranty on the run flats tires for $695. Did anybody else get this? Also I can extend my 5 year 50,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty to 6 years 100,000 mile for $995. Any thoughts if either of this warranties are worth it???

If you got the spare cash to have it, then get it for peace of mind. But if you don't, then console yourself with the thought that if you spent $xx,xxx on a car, it'll be good for longer then the warrenty. It's a BMW remember :)

If you have the extra money, it might be worth it. I've found that extended warranties can come in handy sometimes.

get the extended car warranty if there is no deductable but forget about the tire warranty. for $700, you can buy a new set of tires when you need them...as for the wheels, they are under the car's factory warranty.

Runflat tires are pretty expensive ,averaging at 200-300 per tire. And rims are not covered under the factory warranty. I would highly recommend getting the tire insurance
