Several years ago I bought a set of Alutec wheels from these people through E-bay. I have had no problems what-so-ever. The transaction was smooth, the wheel quality is good, and they were shipped when they said.
Do what you want, but if they had another set of wheels that I needed: I'd buy them.

If you pay with a credit card (or credit card via paypal) you can always dispute the charge. If they had what I wanted and seemed somewhat reputable, I'd order with a credit card and hope for the best. I haven't had it happen yet, but if it didn't work out, I'd just dispute the charge and get my money back (I'm sure that would take a couple weeks, but at least I'd get it back).
Also, don't forget to ask if they have an ebay account so you can check their feedback. That is always a good indication of how they do business.
