my post was locked....why??

umm... why was my for sale post locked?? i really don't see a reason for this.. if someone can explain to me why that would be great...

Consider yourself lucky. This way, anyone genuinely interested will contact you directly, rather than a bunch of broke posters arguing over your pricing or uselessly bumping the thread :)

yea i know... but with the way people post ads on here my thread is on the 3rd page after an hour... its nice to get bumped so people that havent seen the post can see it... if you guys don't want comments on your forum there is a way where you can eliminate all comments on certain boards.. so people cant post anything except for the original sales thread.. it would make more sense then locking down threads..

2. 'Bumping' your own thread more than once every 48 hours is prohibited, doing so will get your thread dumped. Bumping someone else's thread to increase your post count will land you in time out or banned. The extra bandwidth and space required for that eventually does bog down the board
