I bought this car about 3 months ago. This car was purchased in a local 2 for 1 deal. This was the better car, and i planned on driving it, but I'm just not to interested in the whole BMW thing. I'm still a toyota guy, and I need more of a daily driver and something less sporty. If I keep this I know I will start modding the crap out of it, but what I really need is a 4 door corolla (or GM corolla clone) that I can drive interstate worry free and not spend a dime on. This car is in fairly good shape, but does have a few issues which I am about to detail. Car has 147k miles on it. Manual trans. Runs great, but needs some basic up keep. The previous car owners did not give me records of the last time the belts were changed. I bought belts, water pump, thermostat, and other gaskets for maintenance, but have not installed them. That is what it will need to have the perfect engine (although it runs fine now) for future use. The suspension is completely stock and rather tired. It needs new bushings and tierods in the front. Struts all around would be nice too. I have not taken it on long distances yet, because I wanted to replace these parts to feel safe. Although I won't drive it more than 20 minutes from my house, I will allow a buyer to drive it if they really really want to take a risk. The tires are about 25% left, so it would not be fun in the snow or rain. Here comes the good and bad list,

Good:
- Practically no rust. There are a couple spots where surface rust is just starting, but overall it is a nice chasis and body.
- Very strong motor. It pulls nicely, starts right up.
- Interior is rather clean all except the driver seat which is worn.
- All electronics, guages work like they should.
- I installed a nice new shift knob, and hood latch.
- Stock LSD option was purchased, I have the original window sticker.

Bad:
- Stock exhuast is rusted out, needs replaced
- Someone broke in and stole the radio and mashed the OBC so that its display has a smudge on it. Stills works but sucks that it all would have perfect. I replaced the radio/CD player with an extra I have laying around. The front driver side speakers arent working, they need rewired. The others work though.
- No spare tire
- Driver side fender is slighty messed up (check pic)
- Driver side front seat bottom fabric is shredded.
- Needs both side mirror glass pieces.
- Very small crack in the dash
- Service lights need reset. I had a brake line replaced, but didnt have anything reset on the dash. ABS wires are old (like almost all e30's with stock abs)

Pics: Please look closely Some I took specificly to illustrate no rust (like the trunk lights and under trunk area. The one I took of the driver side door show the little rust spots that are starting Passenger side is fine). Check driver side fender and dash too.

The car obviously needs some time and money, but its a good platform. I will keep it as my daily if no one wants it. If you are interested please PM me or send me an AIM instant message etasDustinVR. Thanks

couple of things i missed... its 149K miles not 147. Also, I wanted to mention that the paint is old and the clear coat is a bit crackly... It doesnt show unless you get up really close. Doesn't bother me at all but some people want absolutely perfect paint

Left door rust-is it surface or through to the bottom-I am looking to replace the 79 320i which was my airport car and daily driver-how bad is the seat cushion-we are in FL-are you in Worthington near Columbus? I have clients there and may be up next week.
Can't really tell if there is rust on the sunroof from the picture.

its just starting there.. All on surface. I will check and take a very close up of sunroof tomorrow. One of the door too. You would really want to have someone drive it all the way to florida on that old stock suspension? Sounds scary to me haha.
