Was in my old car, I pulled it and the new car already has nav in it...so I need to get rid of it. It came out of an e36 M3 and I still have the BMW harness adapter plugged into it. It actually fit really nicely in the e36.
Here is the link on crutchfield for the parts:
AVIC-N3 (http://www.crutchfield.com/S-SjhLMID4s6R/cgi-bin/ProdView.asp?search=avic%2Dn3&i=130AVICN3)
iPod Adapter (http://www.crutchfield.com/S-SjhLMID4s6R/cgi-bin/ProdView.asp?i=130IB100II)
It is a touch screen system, and it works really well. The iPod integration is fantastic, basically your iPod controls right on the touch screen. Nav system works pretty damn well and has 2006 DVDs with it. I made one 3k mile trip with it last summer and it never failed me with directions, hotels, or gas stations.
I'd like to get $750 together. Everything works fine, but you will need a new coax connecter (find one at grainger or radio shack for pennies) for the GPS antenna. It fell off during the uninstall. Otherwise all the hardware/wiring is there.
I will say that I actually liked this system more than the one in my current car, but it just doesn't make sense to throw out one Nav and do all the wiring when I already have one. My loss is your gain.
Also, I'd be willing to trade for an e39 16:9 screen or a MKIV nav computer.
