The write up is not very in detailed cause im talking about 4 cars not 2 so.... At my house i have 4 cars which would fall into the categories of sports cars and have come to one conlusion.

THE RIDES:
1:2001 bmw M3 (BONE STOCK)
2:1995 bmw M3
3:2001 Honda S2000
4:1995 240sx

1:the M3 truely has power but at the same time it doesnt, i will be driving the car and not even ntoice that im going about 100mph. It just seems to me to be a sports car that doesnt feel "sporty". The styling on the vehicle is awesome and is really a headturner. at all times. The thing i realy dont like about the car is the way it sounds. it has a real raspy sound and sounds literally like to soup cans or soemthing. But the overall style of the car is awesome. This is a great car but at my age DEF not something i would really enjoy driving.

2:
MODS: B&B tri-flo exhaust-brembo rotors-bilstein struts-turner chip- high flo injectors- CAI - unorthodox pulley kit- short throw shifter- intake thats everything...
(This is my personal Vehicle the rest are my brothers cars.) This car in opinion is a much sportier car then the e46. It always has the power there and lets u know it does. the rumble the e36 puts out is unmatched. the car just always wants to roar and go as fast as possible. The handling is not as a good as the e46 tough. it seems not be a bit more sluggish even tough the cars suspension are not stock it still doesnt match up with the stock e46 suspension. One of the things i dis-like about about the M is that i am a samll guy and when i take turns i sometimes seem to slid with the car. im always moving back and forth lol. BUT THE COMFORT THEY PUT OUT IS WORTH IT...Espcially the large back seat:)

3:
MODS: Koni yellow double adjustable coilovers, Magnaflow Exhaust

TALK ABOUT SOEM FUN. I have nothing to say bad about thsi car except that it lacks on low end toruque bad!!! AFter about 4 thousand rpm it SCOOTS!. with the 9 grand red line it really doesnt matter about the low end cause the vehicle makes up for it. The car is capable of taking turn twice as fast as the M. In first gear youll proabably be up to about 50-60mph i think versus the BMW gear box which u do that in almost 2ng gear ithink. You can still have the top down even when it is about 30 degrees because the heat in the car still makes the car feel real nice and toasty. Driving this car is literally like driving a go-kart and i really cant see it getting old. the one bad thing that has nothgin to do with the car is that ever one adn there mother drive these cars where i live and it sucks....

4:
Mods: Nismo short shifter- tein s-tech springs- brembo rotors- custom 2.5 inch exhaust- CAI

This is the daily beater out of the group its more harasment then any other vehicle. in less than 3 years i had 80xxx put on it. But the car is not very so campared to other cars i can throw it in to a turn as fast as fast as i want and know ill be alright becase it is so easy to control. really not much to say but it get realy good gas mileage.

CONCLUSION:
well if u actually read the write up u proabaly guess that i chose the s2000. Both of the M3s i can see myself driving as i get older and dont care about all the stuff that i want to do. With taht said i really want to get behind the wheel of an M roadster and get the feel for that and see how that is. Please dont start saying shit about how im stupid for saying an s2k is more fun then M3 these are just .02. and everyone has there own opinion. have fun and enjoy the write-up

hopefully your driving skills can match the twitchy tail happy nature of the s2k, and please dont be going into turns as fast as you want because your going to dead yourself or someone else. take it to the track dood.

I wish I had the problem of their being s2000s all over the place here. Out of all the cars you mentioned, I see more E46 Ms than anything

I've only ever seen 4 S2000s in the past year or so, and one is the one I test drove at a dealer a couple days back.

Which we might be buying :) For most of the reasons previously mentioned in this topic, at that. DAMN those cars are fun...
