Sounds nice. Just make sure to do all the regular preventive maintenance and it should last you a long time.

hey, congrats on the buy. E36 is the type of bimmer you got. i think its chasis but it could be body style. i forgot a while ago. other wise then that, if you have a mint bimmer then its time to start with some mods and such. good luck

I backed sea-foam but not sure if i should. I used it on my old motor with 199,876 miles and the motor went out on me about a week afterwards...but i doubt it was because of the sea-foam. Give it a whirl, my car idled a lot steadier when i used it.

There, it's fixed! Happy now? Actually I was just testing you (although I can't seem to get the space between "e" and "r" to go away). Happy New Year everyone. Be safe tonight!

Hey mate, welcome to the best BMW forum, ever. I've got an L 316i. E36 is our style BMW, E46 is the newer shape, and E90 is the new shape out now. It's just codes to tell what type of 3 series it is.

im from the uk whats all this ive been reading about sea foam?

Seafoam is this stuff that cleans out the engine, I've seen it here somewhere for 30quid for a can, not worth the hassle if you ask me.

124K, c'mon, motor is now just broken in ;)

Seriously, I don't think that's a lot of miles if the car was not taken to the track and the engine oil changed 3-5K miles (8 KM?).

IMHO, Turbos make 16V engines zinnnnng!
