New exhaust = gas smell?

Just put my new exhaust on, Stromung, and my garage smells like gasoline now. I've been told that it will smell until the exhaust gets broken in, is this true? Also, is so, how many miles do you think it will take?

ur exhaust will smell like that until its broken in. AA described it to me as a sweet smell. i think the brake in period for an exhaust system is like 800 miles, but im not sure. when i got my exhaust system install i also had my clutch done. i was told 300 miles as a brake in period but i think that was for the clutch.
