Hello everybody.
Some of you already know I had a car accident, I fished with my back and hit the footpath. So, I broke my wishbone (rear control arm), I don't know anything about my trailling arm, but I am replacing it anyway.
I am replacing all axle, trailling arm and wishbone, so I have very good chance to replace my stock suspension. I've bougth some sport shocks and springs from Germany a while ago, but I am not sure about the quality (I don't know the brand).

Question1: should I replace my stock shocks and springs to German ones anyway?
Question2: what else shoud I buy to complete PERFECT suspension replacing?

how do you not know the brand of your suspension???

they kinda look like mine, Bilsteins. dunno bout the springs.

if they are bilsteins they are legit and if you have the chance to swap your stockies then why not do it...since you are recovering from a wreck it might be a good optortunity for an overhaul. good luck

No marks or anything on the springs or the shocks? Look closely on the springs to make sure they arent oem with new paint because they sure look like it.

There is a print on each spring "BMO17 HA 34/05", dunno what that means.
Would you change your stock tired suspension to UNKNOWN brand suspension. I am thinking about decent suspension, Koni or H&R coilover cup kit, but that would be just in autumn, no funds at the moment.
Should I install these ones or try to sell it (it's brand new) and spend money on some other mod?

Sell and save money for some good suspension parts.

front shocks look fairly OEM..
the "sport" yellow shocks from bilstein have a huge damper rod, as it's an upsidedown twin tube, so you see a centre piston that is less than 10mm smaller than the outer body!
rear shocks look to have yellow paint on the bottom rubber bushes, which is a sign of a respray after they were built up.
i'd expect that to be OEM rated shocks, with some lowering springs.

as for the perfect set up, depends on the money you have

Bilstein PSS? You see, the car is street car only, no racing. So I don't really need best performance suspension. I can afford about $1k. All I need is a good street use suspension kit, that would change my tired suspension and beautifly lower my car, but not too much though, cause my area is full of bloody RAMPS! God I HATE them!!!:mad

if thats all you want go bil/eibachs and replace all the bushings and ball joints. you'll have a comfortable ride that looks good. all those parts should be under 750 US Dollars if you know where to look
