Asking $10,350 - Yes, it's an automatic, thanks in advance for your comments on this fact...

103,500 miles as of May 2007

Very clean interior and exterior, paint is in excellent condition - NO RUST, interior carpet is 100% clean and free of imperfections. Interior leather is not torn or cracked and has been conditioned and cleaned regularly. (some minor wear on the side bolster driver's seat. 103k miles will do that...)

Rear tires replaced less than one year ago, and less than 5,000 miles on them now. Engine runs great, starts easily in any weather and is very strong and smooth. I haven't put a lot of miles on it and all service has been performed as needed by a local BMW specialist.

Features/Specs:
Boston Green Metallic
Cream leather interior on black trim
Power seats
Power windows
Power locks
Automatic Transmission
Airbags
Sunroof
Alloy wheels
Rear Window defrost
Cruise Control
Dual zone climate control
OBC

This car was very slightly modified by a previous owner, new air intake and exhaust is all I'm aware of. Other than that the car is stock as far as I know.

You might be in for a challenge bro, I just sold my 1995 M3 5 speed with a little more miles for $8000. Thats about what the market is from like $7500 to like $10,000 if you are lucky and thats for a 5 Speed super clean. I would try a bigger audience like: www.roadfly.com, autotrader.com, cars.com, turnermotorsports.com ect..... since the market for an automatic M3 is so small. Good luck

I didn't get any records with the car when I bought it a little over a year ago (imports dealer), and I simply haven't put enough miles on it to require much maintenance since then. I think 8k miles total since August 2005.

Spring 2006
New rear tires Kuhmo Ecsta All Season
Brake sensor replaced (fixed brake circuit failure message)

Summer 2006
Oil change with Mobile 1 Synthetic/Mahle filter
Cleaned and oiled the K&N air filter
(edit) Replaced cabin air filter

Fall 2006
New spark plugs

I know it's going to be a bit of a challenge. I've got the car up on Craigslist at $12.5k, but I know I'll get laughed off the board with that price here. I'll be listing it on cars.com in the next week or so as well. All I can say is that the car is in INCREDIBLE condition, there is virtually nothing at all wrong with it. Off the top of my head, the ONLY thing I know of is the common sticky drivers window when using the auto-up feature.

What you dont realize is that he is from Iowa. Due to the lack of decent cars here some high school boy racer wanna be is going to grab this the second he sees it and offer cash. How do you think I ended up with a 318ti? I give it a week. BTW very nice car its in amazing condition.

Well I guess hes not driving around with a FS sign in the window. But like these guys said 11.5 is a lot for a auto around here. Im sure you can sell it for that much locally in CR. Mabye you should try listing it down here, there are a lot of kids who got screwed like crazy at my old school when they bought their bimmers but they couldnt be happier. Few people on this forum will go for it though.

Yes, the original post was from December, but I bumped it myself today. And the guy you're replying to is right, these cars are nowhere near the dime-a-dozen here in Iowa like they are in the big cities.

Am I stretching a bit with my asking price? Probably. But I know for a fact that E36 M3s sell for more in this area than they do in a lot of places since they are very hard to find in good condition.

Yeah, I know it's high for the forum, but it doesn't hurt to spread the word. It'll be going up in the local paper and cars.com etc in the next few weeks. I just didn't see the point in aggressively selling it until the winter weather had passed. ... Not that it's gone today or anything apparently :D

dude, I agree with these guys about the price. Auto for a coupe might be hard to swallow for some of us.
I sold my 97 drs with 72K for 12 grand(Im a dumb dick I know).

If you decided on lower it, pmed me.

For Iowa though I have to say that is about right. BMW's here are priced outragous. Yes it's high to be posted on forums but in Iowa I'm sure it will sell to something close to 11k. One of my friends sold a 97 ti w/ 110k for 7,000... I have no idea how that even happened.

well if this was for sale in ny,fl,ca there is no way you will get 11k for the car auto/lux bad combo, but given its in Iowa where there is very few clean M3s to be found I say its a good starting price...
