after looking at what power i've been getting....

I used the mivac to calibrate my 50 cent boost gauge..ie the autometer...

turns out that i'm off by 1psi.

1) i set my W/I to activate at 5psi. yesterday i installed an LED light and noticed that at 4psi, (according to boost gauge) my LED flashed.

2) I calibrated my gauge with the mitvac...from vac to pressure, i'm off by -1.
both vac and psi...

3) calibrated my brothers boost gauge with mitivac. everything was on the correct both vac and PSI.

4) calibrated another gauge i have and was correct with both vac and psi.

i increased my pulley to a 3.48 from a 3.33 thinking i was boosting too much...ie 12-13psi. (using the current boost guage)

since i know now my boost gauge is off by 1psi should i put back my 3.33 pulley to get more boost?

currently i'm using stock internals including head gasket and studs. motor has 10k miles only.

when i was calibrating the gauges, the temperature was about 70 degs. (typical S. Cal weather.)

BTW. my hesitation is gone...i re-installed my bypass valve..and my car no longer hesitates when i stomp on the gas pedal. thanks to drew and phillip for the tip.
