Hi Everyone,

I'm almost done with getting the AA CF kit installed and I just KNOW my clutch is gonna bite the dust within weeks of putting the car on the road. This means I'll have a chance to upgrade the flywheel..or not. Any recs on it? I se e UUC has an 8.5lb wheel and JB racing sells a 10lb one. Some people have mentioned that the UUC "might" have trouble with the bolts backing out, or not. Some complain of chatter.

So, is a lightweight flywheel worth it? Would I do better to keep my dual mass wheel and upgrade the clutch? I don't really care about costs here. If I am pulling the tranny, I only want to do it once and if a lightweight flywheel will improve my driving experience, I want to put the best one in there. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks.

UUC just came out with a Steel lightweight flywheel that will not make any noise according to them. It is the exact same design as their aluminum one and uses the e34 m5 sprung hub clutch design but weighs 17 lbs as opposed to 8.5 so it is much more practical for the street.
