Not sure, but what was your order date? I'm just curious b/c I ordered on 12/7 and I am still "scheduled for production". I'm wondering when mine might be complete and start awaiting transport. The CA said to expect late January delivery and the anticipation is killing me.

I have been waiting about 9 weeks for my 335i Sedan- You can ask your sales guy to use the car locator to give you a better time estimate.

Car was ordered 11/30.... I should have said it is waiting for a boat and not "on" a boat.

I am at the same stage you are. From my understanding it is at least 3 weeks. Two weeks to cross the ocean and a week to be processed and shipped to the dealer. Add in the inevitable delays and it most likely will be 4 weeks!

Text from an email today from my sales guy:

You might know this already, but I just wanted to tell you, your coupe is in transit now! It is supposed to dock at the Processing Center around the middle of January. Once it hits the port, it has to go through customs and processing and made ready to be trucked, which is typically a 4-7-day process. Once it leaves the Processing Center, it is shipped directly to us, then we prep it and get it ready for you to come pick it up. Basically, everything is on pace for January delivery as planned (you have 10 days beyond your lease-end of 1/22/07 to turn it in without penalty, just as a reminder), but I will continue to let you know as things progress. Thanks and have a great weekend!

Mine finished production on 12/26. My salesman said delivery at the end of Jan. How do you find out the ship name/number that it is on? Does the dealer know this?

I ordered mine from WG. Loved my experience so far, deal done over the phone and haven't been there yet. CA even offered to bring the car to me when it is ready but I'd rather trek up there and drive it home myself.

good deal.... I know a couple of the techs up there and only have them work on my cars.... They are a good BMW dealership.
