Hi-

Im considering doing spark plugs tomorrow. I know that the M5 runs best on stock plugs. What kind ARE they? Can I get them at AutoZone or Checker?

Also, will running injector cleaner through the car hurt anything? The car is running on original plugs and injectors. While they only have 70k miles on them, they are 15 years old.

Don't use anything but the Bosch Y6DC.

Yea I run a bottle of Chevron Techron couple times a year.

No but you will be suprised how deep the plugs are in the head.:eyecrazy
Use the plug wrench in your kit or a 16mm (IIRC) and a skinny extension.
Don't over torque. Should be around 11-18lbs. No more than 20 or you will strip the threads.:grenade

For FI injector cleaner, I go with BG44k. Good product.
