Has anyone tried poly motor mounts like the ones on the Ireland site on a street car? Just wondering if they would be to harsh. Looking to tighten up the driveline and considered the motor mounts, tranny mount, and diff mount. thanks.

I'm using those in my DD, and think they're great. I'm using 'em with a fairly 'hot' NA motor (304 Schrick cam, dual 40 DCOEs, Port/polished E12 head, 9.5:1 Mahles, Carillo rods, 4:2:1 headers, MSD/PerTronix, etc.) mated to a JB alum flywheel, M3 Plate/Tii clutch and Getrag 5-spd OD conversion. Also running Susp Tech bars, Eibach Pro-kit springs and Bilstein Sports. I've got a somewhat rumbly idle (~900 rpm). I don't notice any harsh vibrations inside the car - everything just feels tight & well connected, like I want it... (This IS harder than stock though - but not as hard as solid mounts!).
I think IE's urethane parts are good quality, very reasonably priced and provide a nice tightened up feel to the motor/driveline connections to the chassis for those looking for that.

Thanks for the help. They are reasonable at the IE website. Check'em out.

I looked and didn't see any diff mount bushings. Am I crazy or do they not have them?
