Hi there, I'm new in the forum and my '06 225i has around 9,500 mi.
It's been several weeks now the steering wheel gives me kind of a popping/bumpping sensation (don't know how to describe it best) on the steering wheel turning both directions at speeds under 20 mi or when iddle. The lower the speed the more frequent the sensation at every turn. Feels like something is loose in there and when it reaches a point it kind of pops like catching on a slack or something. It doesn't make any sound though and doesn't do that at higher speeds at all.
I've noticed that when adjusting the wheel position that sensation goes away for a little time but it always comes back.
After all this time that feeling is driving me nuts. My wife's minivan gives me a way smoother turning sensation...
I'm taking my car to the dealer shop in a week or so, but wanted to know if any of you guys have experienced this and possible know what may be the cause before hand.
Appreciated!
