Last weekend I put my 24# injectors, Jim C chip, 3.5" HFM, and cosmos intake on and I am VERY pleased with the results. The power is much smoother and there appears to be a lot more torque in the lower rpms.
But, the injector in the 3rd cylinder wont stop leaking. I bought a set of 8 injectors so I swapped it with another one and same result. It is leaking from the top, near the fuel rail. There were brand new o-rings on all of the injectors so I dont beleive that is the problem. Could I have possibly damaged the fuel rail itself? Any other ideas?

Did you put the retaining clips back on the injectors when yo put them in? Cause in order for them to go on you have to push the injector in the rail. May want try pushing it in the rail and reinstalling the retaining clip. One of my injectors did that me the other day when I put mine in.

Yeah I didnt the first time around but realized that so took them all out and reinstalled them. Maybe Ill just have to try it again and see if that helps.

I am going to do the same mod very soon to my car, although I don't think that I am going to get the 24# injectors. The setup made a noticable difference? People have said that they could really feel it on the butt dyno. I am hoping for the same. I am also going to get the budget SSK from understeer. Do you like that also, Jackos?

I love the new setup. I could feel a much stronger pull through out the whole rev range. I have heard that the setup does not do much for OBD-II, but OBD-I's benefit greatly.
I love the budget ssk. It was cheap and very simple to install. The throw is a little notchy but still feels MUCH better than stock. I'd recommend it.

Did you lubricate the o-rings before pushing them into the injector rail? Possibly something in the injector rail port that is causing the o-ring to deform?

Common problem is that the o-ring from the original injector did not come out when you removed the injector. Get a pick and fish around in the fuel rail for #3 injector. My $ is on the O-ring still being in there.
For reinstall, break out some oil or petroleum jelly and lube the top and bottom o-rings on the injectors. Makes getting them seated in the fuel rail and manifold alot easier.

Ok Ill mess around with it and see what happens. I did lube them up and they all went in easy and seem to be seated fairly well. Thanks for the help guys.
