Hello, my name is Marc i just bought a 98 BMW 328IC, 5 speed. I want to come on here and introduce myself. This looks like a great forum with many great people, and lots of tastefully done cars. Im coming out of a 92 3000GT VR4, so yes this a big change. I loved my VR4 but i couldnt deal with all the problems. I want to make this BMW look just a little bit unique. I was searching for rims and im not sure what to go with. Maybe you guys have some ideas? i would like an exhaust nothing ricey, or big. Something that looks original but has a small pur to it. Sorry about the long post, any ideas would be greatly appreciated! I will have pics up soon

the factory exhaust from the M3 will bolt right up with zero modifications and can be bought used in good shape for $100-$150.

they have nice polished tips too.

Uhm...flange diamter on the M3 is smaller.

Well...it's not a straight fit, unless US spec 328 pipes/M3 pipes are different, but Euro spec 328 and M3 pipe won't fit without extra work.

hey guys thanks for the responses. As far as the Remus exhaust how expensive can this get? and what kind of tone will it produce? Hows the power on the 328? i did not register the car yet so i really havent experimented to much with it.

The Remus prices depend on whether you go catback or from the manifolds....expect anywhere from 350 to 700 dollars....the tone is low and rich....wind it out and its pure sex.....my opinon....lots of sexy exhaust systems out there....but it still about function as well as sound....I net an 8 whp increase with remus....yes I did dyno it....its posted here some place.

Why do you want to do Remus? Stock is a great exhaust, if not rusted, and for '98 and if driven only during Spring/Summer/Fall, they should be in great shape. Just go to the dealer and buy an exhaust tip cover, and you'll love the way it looks, for about $40, not $400+ dollars plus installations. Chrome covers you can add them yourself.

I'v got a Supersprint on my 97 328ic. Love the sound winding it out but don't like the resonance at lower RPM's in traffic.
